Artesanal Grill

Artesanal Grill serves authentic Mexican cuisine from its spot inside the Sun Valley Mall food court in Concord, California, with handcrafted burritos, street tacos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, quesabirria, tortas, nachos, and traditional Mexican drinks like horchata and Jamaica. The restaurant's approach to Mexican cuisine is reminiscent of a home kitchen, where each protein has its own treatment and each salsa its own purpose.

Toppings are prepared throughout the day to stay fresh, and nothing arrives at the counter pre-portioned out of a bag. This attention to detail extends to the preparation of proteins, with the al pastor marinated overnight and grilled to order, and the carnitas slow-cooked until they break apart with a fork and then crisped on the griddle.

The menu includes options like the Super Pastor Burrito, Burrito Bowl, Street Tacos, Quesadillas, and Tortas. Catering services are also available for offices, parties, and events across the East Bay, and orders can be placed by calling (925) 980-1244 or walking in to the food court counter.

The goal is to deliver the flavor of a sit-down restaurant in the time it takes to walk through the mall, using real recipes, real ingredients, and real cooking. Proteins are kept hot and rotated, and replenished in small batches to ensure that what is served is freshly prepared.
